We visited Valley View Casino in Valley Center close to San Diego and had a great time: gambling, having tasty and not expensive drinks from the bar listening to life band playing, having free soda throughout Casino until we decided to eat their famous lobster buffet. The rest of the buffet was good too but definitely not worth the $32.99 normal charge - although I did see some people paying full price. I had three and can't complain for the price. The lobster tails were small and split down the center and dipped in butter by the server. We came back about 7:15 and still had to wait in a line for about 45 minutes but did get the free buffet. At the booth we found out the earliest reservation available was 7:30. We got to the cashier who told us we need to go the reservation booth to get a reservation for the free buffet. We didn't quite understand what she meant and decided to go for lunch at about 2:30. The lady signing us up was very friendly and warned to come back early because the buffet usually 'sells out' by 4:30. We signed up for player cards in the morning and were given receipts and told to come back between 2:00 and 9:00 for the free lobster buffet. My wife and I really liked this casino and managed to get the free buffet but almost missed out.
